Big 1

Over the worlds longest summer holiday Tilburger turned 1. She was very lucky to celebrate the day at everyone's favourite Aunty Mags surrounded by loving uncles and aunties of two generations, lovely cousins and the Big Brother Aerten who was very helpful with the presents. The amazing Cousin Wewa composed and directed a Princess scene for the day - and Tilburger loved the attention. So despite my thoughts of neglect and lack of stimulation I think her development is just fine.

Tykke Fedesen

And my ever neglected daughter who deserves a hundred times more attention and blog updates that she gets. Who has developed her own little chatterbox personality. Who puts up with so much from her brother and her parents by just observing it all. Who LOVES her brother despite him only taking notice of her when she gets in the way.

Little Bigs

My big big Little Bigs who can confidently manoeuvre in two languages and count to 10 in both. Who comes home from daycare with a stinking garlic breath and who calls the same daycare "op og lege" (up to play) with a little tear in his eye. Who reads his favourite books like Winnie the Pooh, Kaj og Andrea, A squash and a squeeze aloud to anyone who will listen. Who thinks a bus ride to town is a very special treat and who at the end of an exhausting 24 hour journey from Oz to DK stayed awake on the 4 hour train ride because he only then found out that trains is a real life thing.
